    7月东乡三教堂村义和团大师兄孙九龙设坛。9月上旬，孙九龙与惠民县义
和团大师兄孙允荣等人，汇合附近12县团众近千人，在村东玉皇庙内练拳习武，并打
出“反清灭洋”的旗帜，打击欺压民众的反动教会势力。9月24日，省城官军来犯，
被义和团设伏击溃，带兵头领候补知县查荣绥当场毙命。不久，山东巡抚袁世凯又派
倪嗣冲、雷震春率军前来镇压，杀死团众数十人，义和团起事终遭失败。
