    至2008年， 平阴县共有玫瑰品种50余个，其中传统平阴玫瑰品种4个，本地杂
交繁育品种近30个，国内外引进品种20余个。这些玫瑰品种用于大田栽植的主要有
3个， 即平阴重瓣红玫瑰、丰花玫瑰和紫枝玫瑰。2006年后，法国格拉斯、保加利
亚大马士革等油用玫瑰在平阴得到较快发展。其他品种多栽植在平阴玫瑰研究所示
范园内，用于观赏和科学试验。
