    1988年， 平阴县迁入人口5289人，迁出人口5404人，机械增长率为-0.31‰。随
着改革开放的不断深入，人口流动的环境逐渐宽松，1995年，迁入3981人，迁出5859
人，机械增长率为-4.99‰。1996年，旧县乡划出，划出人口28431人。2003年，迁入
3627人， 迁出4708人，机械增长率为-2.98‰。1988年至2003年，全县有11年人口机
械增长率为负。
