    建国前收获小麦、谷子、大豆等主要用镰刀割、碌碡轧。1956年尹庄农场开始引进马拉收割机1台。 1977年泰安地区分配平阴卧式收割机28台。1980年泰安地区农机局分配平阴2台4GC－1.7/1.4收割机。 1987年全县共有小型机引收割机34台，机动扬场机238台，脱粒机563台。
