    清乾隆三十六年（1771年） ，历城县家庭规模平均每户3．86人。民国初年，
平均每户4．54人。至建国前，每户平均4～5人。
    1965年前， 每户平均人口一直呈上升势态。1949年每户平均4．86人。1956年
每户平均4．95人。 1960年每户平均4．93人。 1965年最多， 平均每户4．98人。
1966年后， 家庭规模趋向小型化。1976年每户平均4．88人。1983年最少，每户平
均4．12人， 比1965年的4．98人下降了17．3％。1984年后，每户平均人口略有回
升。1985年每户平均4．47人。
    家庭世数，建国前以三代户居多。一代、二代、四代户较少，五代户罕见。建
国后，二代、四代、五代户增多，三代户减少。其中，二代户增加较快。
