    天桥区土著方言属山东西齐区方言。明清以来，辖区商贸日趋活跃，交通便利，
尤其胶济、津浦两铁路建成通车后，四方人口大量涌入，各地语言也汇集于此。人
们在长期的生活中，便形成了地域性语言。男子讲话浑厚，女子则柔和。新中国成
立后，随着普通话的推广普及，方言里的普通话因素不断增加，语言结构逐渐变化。
本章方言词汇、谚语及歇后语皆以当地广为流传的方言为依据。
