    1951年10月设立区民政股。1952年8月改为民政调解股。1955年9月改为民政
科。1968年2月，撤销民政科，由内务组管理民政工作。1976年10月复设民政科。
1984年4月改为民政局。 1989年，民政局下设办公室、军队离退休干部办公室、
基层政权科、优抚科、社会科、民政科、财务科，编制12人。
