    1949年，辖区仅经一路至经四路、纬五路至纬八路安装路灯。1953年，较大街
巷逐步安装路灯。1964年，经四路部分白炽灯更换为第二代高压汞灯。1971年起，
主要道路普及高压汞灯。1978年，经四路安装第三代高压钠灯10盏。1989年，辖区
110条街巷共安装路灯1700余盏，其中高压汞灯874盏 (包括经二路57盏，经四路20
盏，纬十二路54盏)，高压钠灯49盏(其中经四路10盏)，白炽灯700余盏。
