    1952年11月，郊三区老屯村(现属匡山街道办事处) 农民王振善带领1 1户农民
建起西郊地区第一个农业生产合作社(习称初级社)。1954～1955年，合作社进入大
发展时期， 入社农户占总农户的20％左右。其中1955年底，药山区6个乡及玉符河
区3个乡(以上均为现吴家堡镇地区)建起合作社44个，共809户，占总农户的18.7％；
另有互助组251个， 共1794户。初级社生产资料归私人所有，牲畜、大农具使用时
折算成工分，土地入股分红。
