    国务院决定1997年在全国开展第一次农业普查，以农业生产要素的基本普查为
基础内容，同时全面了解农村经济和社会发展的基本情况。主要包括：农业生产经
营单位的数量、规模和结构；农业用地在各生产经营单位的分布和使用情况；农性
固定资产的数量、结构和性能；农村劳动力的数量、素质，从事的行业和流动情况；
乡镇企业和所有乡镇的基本情况。 辖区普查工作从1996年2月开始组织实施，普查
的数据处理，资料分析工作到199 9年底完成。
