    1988年，西青龙街街道办事处，为解决辖地儿童入托难的问题，在旧新街39号
建立民族幼儿园一所，占地面积70平方米，有四大间房，配有电视机、风琴、录音
机和儿童玩具。 现有3名幼儿教师，45名回族儿童入托。办事处还积极组织发展家
庭托儿所，年底有家庭托儿所129处，入托儿童175名。较好地解决了儿童入托难的
问题。多次受到市、区的好评。
