    50年代， 辖区绿化由济南市绿化专业队在主要街巷栽植行道树。1966年2月，
历下区成立市政工程养护绿化队， 1979年2月改为历下区绿化专业队。1980年成立
绿化办公室。 1982年成立历下区绿化委员会。 到1985年底，历下区绿化覆盖面积
536．58公顷，覆盖率29．81％。有公共绿地132．18公顷，人均占有绿地6．3平方
米。
