    菏泽地区民族宗教事务处于1984年3月成立， 为副县级单位，主要负责全区少数
民族及宗教方面的事务。少数民族工作主要是加强民族团结，发展民族经济、文化、
教育、体育等各项事业，落实党和国家有关少数民族的各项政策。宗教工作主要是落
实宗教政策和宗教房地产政策，开放宗教活动场所，打击非法传教等。
