    1949年9月， 菏泽专署设立林牧局，负责区内畜牧饲养工作；1959年12月改为畜
牧局，1962年并入农业局，设林牧水产组。根据工作需要，1979年11月复设畜牧局；
198 1年9月又并入农业局。1984年4月机构改革时，与农业、水产合并为农牧渔业局，
是年11月改设菏泽地区农业局，1985年12月，又设立了菏泽地区畜牧业生产办公室，
负责全区的畜牧饲养工作。
