    2004年，全年畜牧业总产值61.31亿元，比上年增长20.1%。全年肉类总
产45.58万吨， 增长16.1%, 其中猪肉26.51万吨，增长16.4%；牛肉13.39万吨，增长
13.4%；禽蛋29.28万吨，增长10.3%。肉猪出栏350.57万头，增长17.1%。大牲畜年末
存栏89.58万头。 渔业产量增加，全年水产养殖面积2.00万公顷，总产量9.57吨，增
长6.9%。全市有7个县区被国家定为山羊板皮生产基地，4个县被定为瘦肉猪生产基地，
曹县被定为鲁西黄牛生产基地和活牛出口基地，并于2002年在曹县五里墩中大动物胚
胎工程中心降生了中国第一头克隆牛。
