    市公路局为市政府所属正县级事业单位，主要负责辖区内国省道干线公路的规划、建设、管理、
养护，以及汽车养路费和路桥通行费征收工作。2006年，全市完成干线公路建设投资13.3亿元（含高
速公路建设），建成一级公路62.59公里、二级公路89.6公里，辖区内国、省道通车里程达2085.3公里，
其中高速公路282公里（居全省第三位）、一级公路357.6公里、二级公路1349.5公里。
