    2004年，全市各类科技型民营企业已发展到685多家，其中规模以上科技型民营企业达到273家，
省级高新技术企业达到114家，国家级高新技术企业达到10家，省级技术开发中心13家，市级技术开
发中心近200家。一批民营企业在生物技术、新型材料、精细化工等高新技术领域形成了一定的优势。
久泰化工的“二甲醚”二期项目获国家科技进步一等奖。
