    原东方红影院设施老化，不能适应观众需求，于2001年12月拆除，并在其原址投资3000万元建设
东方红影城。东方红影城于2003年12月动工建设，2005年主体工程完工。新建成的东方红影城建筑面
积7000余平方米，地下1层，地上7层，设有大小5个放映厅，可同时容纳550人，并开设客房、家庭影
院、KTV、网吧、休闲吧、慢摇吧等休闲娱乐项目，是临沂市十大亮点工程之一。
