    年内，全市共发展老年体协组织6159个，发展会员90.8万人，经常参加活动的老年人已达60万人。
市老年体协举办了全市老年人门球、台球、象棋、太极拳、剑、健身球等一系列比赛，丰富了老干部
的晚年生活。9月，举办了驻城老年人庆祝国庆节、老人节大型文化体育表演活动。市委副书记、纪
委书记孟宪海代表市六大班子向全市广大老年人祝贺节日并作重要讲话，驻城各单位的4000余名老年
人参加了表演，近2万人观看了演出。
