    根据省老龄委《关于在全省广泛开展争创敬老模范单位和争当敬老模范个人、模范老人活动的意
见》，市老龄委制定了评分标准，积极发动群众，严格把关，使评选活动得以顺利进行。在2002年10
月召开的全省表彰“敬老模范”和“模范老人”大会上，临沂市推荐的9个敬老模范集体，11名敬老
模范个人，7名模范老人受到了省人事厅、省老龄委的表彰。其中兰山区被评为全省老龄工作先进单
位。
