    《中共临沂历史大事记》由临沂市党史委编纂，中央文献研究室出版发行，全书57.1万字。采用
编年体和纪事本末体相结合、以编年体为主的体例，以临沂市现辖区域追溯历史，以建国后党的历史
时期为线索，主要记述1949年10月至于1999年12月50余年间中共临沂地方党组织领导全市人民进行社
会主义革命、建设和改革的历史。编纂中力求全面、系统、准确地记述临沂党组织贯彻党的路线、方
针、政策，领导人民群众进行社会主义革命和建设的历史大事，总结基本经验和教训，达到"存史、
资政、育人"的目的。
