    3月，临沂电信无线市话工程开始建设，发展无线市话"小灵通"业务。小灵通具有健康、环保、
低辐射和电池待机时间长等特点。由于注重搞好宣传策划，采取灵活的措施，业务得到迅速发展。
    5月28日，无线市话正式开通，共安装基站676个，一期无线市话工程交换机容量达到40000线。截
至年底，临沂电信小灵通用户达到1.59万部。
