    红区防灾减灾中心完成了上山道路建设、原址无线电观测站搬迁、雷达塔楼及业务楼规划设计等
工作。经中国气象局批准，启动临沂设施农业气象试验站建设项目，并纳入全省气象现代化重点工程。
全市新建、改建区域自动站72处。气象业务保持全省先进水平，一般性降水预报准确率全省第一名，
晴雨预报准确率全省第二名，全省地面测报业务竞赛获得团体第六名。
