    2000年是全市公路事业取得跨越式发展的重要一年，完成干线公路建设投资11.71亿元，建成高速
公路120公里、路网项目83公里，完成桥梁改造17座、1365.4延米。到年底，全市干线公路通车里程达
到1991.6公里，其中高速公路206公里，一、二级公路1456公里；高级、次高级路面1972公里，实现了
“九五”全市公路交通奋斗目标，“瓶颈”制约状况明显缓解。
