    为满足临沂机场不断增长的客货运输需要和安全要求， 市政府决定对临沂机场进行改造提升。9
月份， 省发改委批复了工程初步设计和概算。工程总概算2.3亿元，其中争取国家民航局批复补助专
项资金5000万元。 扩建后可使航站楼面积扩大到2.6万平方米，站坪机位由3个增加到8个，更新升级
一部分涉及运营安全的设施设备。改造后可以满足近期2015年典型高峰小时起降9架次；年旅客吞吐量
135万人次。
