    进入90年代，我市紧紧依靠科技进步，不断改善养蚕条件，提高蚕农素质，使蚕茧产量质量上升到一个新水平。自1992年起，我市连续四年干茧出口日本、韩国。1995年出口345吨，累计达793吨。干茧出口不仅开辟了我市新的出口创汇渠道，而且提高了我市蚕茧在国际市场上的知名度，促进了外向型经济的发展。
