    全年放养蚕种19．55万张，比上年增加2．47万张。生产蚕茧565万公斤，居全省第二位。成龄桑园亩产茧78．8公斤，  比上年提高4．6公斤。全市有12个乡镇亩产茧超过100公斤，39个村亩产茧超过150公斤，71户亩产茧达200公斤以上。1995年茧质主要数据为：茧丝长1170．42米，同比增加15．24米；上车茧率91．19％，同比降低1．16％；解舒率61．59％，同比降低8．29％；核定光折244．69公斤，同比增加3．14公斤。从整体看，除解舒率下降幅度较大，造成核定光折加大，干茧出丝率降低外，其他指标与上年持平或有提高。
