    男，汉族，1947年11月生，临沂罗庄人，大专毕业，1972年4月加入中国共产党，1972年9月参加工作。 1972年9月至1976年3月任临沂县罗庄公社团委副书记。 1976年3月至12月任临沂县委工作队组长。1976年12月至1984年1月先后任临沂县罗庄公社党委常委、副书记、书记。1984年1月至1987年7月任临沂地区乡镇企业局局长、   党组书记，  期间，  1985年8月至1987年6月在临沂地委党校学习。1987年7月至1992年12月任中共苍山县委书记兼县人武部党委书记。1992年12月至1995年4月任临沂地区行署副专员、行署党组成员，期间，1993年9月至1994年7月在中共中央党校学习。1995年4月任临沂市人民政府副市长、党组成员。是中共山东省五次党代会代表。
