    男，   汉族，  山东沂源县人， 大专证书，1941年3月生，1962年2月入党，1955年5月参加工作。1955年5月至1962年8月在沂源县第十区公所、县人委、县肃反办公室工作。1962年8月至1965年10月任沂源县南麻区户籍员、  县公安局侦察员。   1965年10月至1970年1月任东风化肥厂人事保卫科负责人。1970年1月至1976年12月任东风化肥厂革委会副主任。  1976年12月至1982年7月任东风化肥厂党委书记。1982年7月至1987年2月任临沂地区经委副主任。1987年2月至1992年任原临沂市委副书记、市政府市长。1992年12月至1995年2月任临沂地委委员、临沂市委书记。1995年2月至1995年5月任临沂市委常委。1995年5月任临沂市委常委、宣传部部长。是省六次党代会代表，省七届人大代表。
