    2008年，市十七届人大常委会坚持以科学发展观为指导，全面贯彻中共十七大和十七届三中全会
精神，围绕中心，服务大局，依法履职，为保障和促进全市经济社会又好又快发展作出了积极贡献。
年内，共举行了6次常委会会议，听取审议了“一府两院”18项工作报告，依法作出了6项决议、13项
决定和12项审议意见，依法任免了142名国家机关工作人员。机关获“省级文明机关”称号。
