    1996年，全市各级人民银行认真贯彻总行、省行货币信贷方针，以强化监管为主线、深化改革为
重点，通过加强内部管理，改善金融服务，较好地发挥了人民银行的职能作用，维护了金融秩序，保
证全市金融平稳、有序运行，促进了经济持续、健康、快速发展，截止1996年底。全市各项存款余额
为206亿元，其中城乡储蓄存款166亿元；各项贷款余额164亿元；净回笼现金72亿元。
