    1996年，全市有勘察设计单位46个，勘察设汁人员960人，完成勘察没计收入1500余万元。测绘业
以强化行业管理为主导，加强了测量标志的管理。普查检修维护测量标志165个，其中25米至35米高的
三角点5座。 编绘临沂市地图6000幅， 编制出版临沂市购物指南3万份、 临沂市旅游指南2万份。 1：
10000地形图基础测绘更新丁作完成了22幅，成图面积540平方公里。
