    1996年，全市公路系统广大干部职工认真学习贯彻党的十四届五中、六中全会精神，团结拼搏，
开拓进取，扎实工作，积极推进两个根本性转变，各项工作都取得了较好的成绩，为实现“九五”目
标，打下了良好的基础。年内，公路系统共新建二级公路110公里，建成特大桥一座，完成市内、市
外工程量4亿元；干线公路养护质量稳中有升，综合好路率达76．5％；汽车养路费和过路过桥费征收
完成2．64亿元，圆满完成了任务。
