    各县区都有饲养。沂南、沂水、蒙阴等县饲养长毛兔已有20多年。主要兔种是由英、法系杂交的
安哥拉兔又与本地兔种杂交选育而成的安哥拉中国长毛兔。其特点是生长快，个大体健，抗病力强。
绒毛密度大，质量好，且不易缠结。每只兔一年可剪毛4次，每次150～250克。一年四季均能繁殖，每
月1胎，每胎产仔6只左右，多者可达10只。春秋两季繁殖的仔兔成活率高，发育好，生活力强。
