    临沂高新技术产业开发区于1992年10月经省人民政府批准成立，是山东省十大开发区之一。位于
临沂城南10公里处的罗庄区，规划建设面积10．6平方公里，北靠兖石铁路，南临陇海铁路，交通十
分便利。区内物产丰富，主要矿藏有煤炭、石灰岩、石英砂岩、花岗岩、大理石等。区内主导产业为
工艺陶瓷、新型建材、高科技电子、轻型材料、精细化工、轻工纺织等。
