    1997年底，按照市委、市政府的部署，工委在市直机关、企事业单位开展了向下岗特困职工和受
灾困难群众献爱心、送温暖捐助活动。各级领导干部率先垂范，带头捐款、捐物，广大干部职工发扬
“一方有难、八方支援”的优良传统，踊跃捐款捐物。在近1个月的时间里，市直有3万余名干部职工
和个体工商户参加了捐助活动，共捐款671179．74元，为下岗特困职工和受灾困难群众献上了一份爱
心。
