    王茂字伯昌，别号东村。三槐王氏后裔。祖居山东曹县，生活在元末明初，生卒年月不详。王茂系
元末进士出身，历任台柬、户部尚书、福建行省左丞、光禄大夫，与后来帮助朱元璋打天下的刘伯温友
善。卒后葬于曹县城西南五里水涸村。著有《东村野叟诗稿》。
