    王灵宾（505—549年），梁简文帝萧纲皇后。祖父王俭，仕齐为太尉，封南昌文献公；父王骞，官
至光禄大夫。她为大家闺秀，性格温柔娴淑，资质聪敏。其叔父王暕称她为“吾家女师也”。梁天监十
一年（512年），拜晋安王萧纲妃。中大通三年（531年），萧纲为皇太子，王灵宾为皇太子妃。先后生
哀太子萧大器、南郡王萧大连和长山公主萧妙□。大青三年（549年）三月病故于永福省，时年45岁。同年
五月萧纲即帝位， 是为简文帝，追谥王灵宾为简皇后，大宝元年（550年）九月，葬于庄陵，金紫光禄
大夫萧子范为她撰写碑文。
