    1999年本市辖区内共发生ML1.0级以上地震10次，其中最大一次为1999年9月17日21时38分发生在
沂水西北部泉庄附近的ML3.4级地震(东经118°22′，北纬35°56′)，震中烈度4度强。泉庄镇驻地普
遍有感，泉庄南3公里处的南坡村震感强烈，群众感到床动，悬挂物摇摆，屋顶掉土，大地“隆隆作
响”，地声如打闷雷。平房中有睡觉者被惊醒，有人跑出屋外。有感范围西起蒙阴坦埠，东至沂水马
站，南至沂水崔家峪，北至沂源东里镇。此地历史上没有发生过3级以上地震。
