    统计信息现代化建设步伐加快。市统计局信息工程建设坚持“高起点，分步走”的原则，取得了
新突破。在建成局域网的基础上扩充了新站点，开通了DDN专线，实现了与省局的广域网连接。省、
市、县对口专业、科、处开通了电子邮件传输。山东统计信息港临沂分港、政府网全面建成，运行良
好。开通了“山东·临沂工业经济网”。有10个县区建成了局域网，部分县区建设了统计信息港，实
现与乡镇统计站的微机联网。
