    临沂地区有沂河、沭河、滨海和中运河四大水系。河长10公里以上的河流有306条，其中：沂河
水系152条，沭河水系72条，滨海水系43条，中运河水系39条。另有丈八丘河、黄庄河流入莱芜，新
汶河流入新泰，两县河、三岔河流入临朐，浯河、淮河、石河等注入潍河。按区域划分，全区属淮河
流域。
