    清初,地方行政区划沿用明制。自雍正十二年起，相当今临沂地区属沂州府。
    沂州府：治所旧址即今山东临沂市临沂城。清初沿明制，沂州为兖州府属州，不设附郭县。辖郯
城、费2属县。1724年(雍正二年)升为山东省直隶州。1734年(雍正十二年)，升为沂州府，置附郭兰山
县。同时，降莒州为散州，并以莒州及其原辖沂水、日照、蒙阴3县来属。共辖1州6县，即：莒州、
兰山(原为沂州直辖区域，1734年置县，为沂州府郭县。治所旧址在今临沂市临沂城)、郯城、费县、
沂水、日照、蒙阴。
