    本区矿产资源主要有石油、天然气、煤。石油和天然气主要分布在商河、临邑、乐陵、平原、禹城及陵县东部，储量丰富，国家正在开采。煤主要在齐河县的西南马集一带，呈西南东北走向，埋深300米，煤层2～3米，现在筹备建井开采。
