    马颊河为禹疏九河之一。因河道上宽下窄，形如马颊而命名。
    马颊河为海河流域独流入海的一条排涝河道。是本区干流河道，上起夏津县香赵庄乡马桥沟口（即周哈庄），下至庆云县苏家出境，总长223公里。流域面积为3820平方公里。
