    1950年5月，德州专署组建后即设置劳动科。1961年7月专署恢复后改设劳动局。1962年5月，撤销专署劳动局，其业务归属专署经济计划委员会劳动科。1968年6月至1971年3月，劳动业务工作先后由地革委生产指挥部计统组和地革委生产指挥部计划委员会办公室劳动组负责。1971年4月，建立德州地革委劳动局。1978年易名为德州地区劳动局。1984年3月至1985年底，地区劳动局与人事局合并，称地区劳动人事局。
