    1950年5月，德州专员公署建立人事科，1956年人事科随专署而撤销。1961年7月，专署人事科随德州专署的重建而恢复。1962年12月，撤销专署人事科，建立德州专署人事监察局。1969年1月，撤销专署人事监察局，将其工作并入地革委生产指挥部政治处办公室。1975年4月，德州地区革命委员会建立人事局。
    1978年7月，地区革命委员会人事局改称德州地区人事局。
    1984年3月，地区人事局与劳动局合并称德州地区劳动人事局，直至1985年底。
