    1996年，省丝绸总公司投资960万元在惠民县建大型国有缫丝厂，1997年5月投产，
年产白厂丝100吨。1999年，省丝绸总公司又投资800万元扩建，新上自动缫丝工艺生
产线。 2000年，全厂拥有ED101剥茧机2台，联合选茧机2台，ED120DT型煮茧机1台，
ED104DT型煮茧机1台， D201C型立缫机182台，D301B型自动缫丝机100台，EH79A型复
摇机200窗，D113A型复摇机200窗。共产白厂丝200吨，质量稳定在3A60以上。
