    董永，汉代手乘董家庄（今属博兴县陈户镇）人。家贫，自幼丧母，靠自己种地
劳动养活父亲。董永每去田间劳作，则以小车推着父亲，放到树荫下，并备有水罐，
为父解渴，过着父子相依为命的生活。父死，无钱治丧，永便自卖其身以葬父。后人
传为佳话，拥永为孝子楷模，列为二十四孝之一。为宣传之需，将董永作为文学创作
题材，并加以神化，遂有董永至孝，感动天帝，仙女助织还债的故事。传至现在，股
炙人口，妇孺皆知。
