    清代，境内人口性别构成无考。
    民国时期，政府搞过两次人口调查，男性均高于女性。其中民国15年(1926年)男
116365人，女100478人，性别比例(设女性为100，下同) 为100：116.08；民国22年
(1933年)男135096人，女119142人。性别比例为100：113.39。
    建国后， 1949-1961年连续13年性别比例均在100： 91.76-92.31范围内，
1980年性别比例100：103，1985年性别比例为100：  102.14。
    按年龄组计算，表示如下：
