    建国前，县内无劳动管理机构。1956年9月县政府成立劳动科，设科长1人，办事
员4人。1962年劳动管理业务纳入博兴县计划委员会，设2人分管，劳动科撤销。1976
年1月成立县劳动局， 设正副局长各1人，办事员5人。是年成立县安全委员会，在劳
动局设安全办公室，1名副局长兼任办公室主任。1981年4月，县劳动服务公司成立，
隶属劳动局。1984年劳动同设局长1人，副局长2人，调研员1人，办事员10人。
